Additionally, the firm can be hired to act as a broker that negotiates industry rates and add-ons with leading local and national partners in every aspect of event planning which saves clients time and maximizes their dollars. Glam's owner, Damita Holbrook, has over 10 years of event and hospitality experience that include high profile events, brand & product introductions, golf tournaments and kick-off events for the 1996 Olympics hosted in Atlanta. She also has a M.P.A from Georgia State University and a B.A. from Spelman College. Additionally, she teaches event planning courses at Clayton State University.  Damita founded the company after years of making events happen, but sensing a need in the industry to take personalization to the next level.
